"I stayed overnight on 6/9/19 with my 25 year old daughter in a family room with a double bed &a single bed. This is the 1st time we've stayed in a B&B with a shared bathroom. The room was well equipped with nice quality bedding &curtains and a good double vanity unit with big mirror and light. It was not too hot or cold either which made a refreshing change. The shower had a lovely big shower head and was nice &hot.We had no problem sharing as there are only 4 rooms anyway. It was a nice quiet location too.It was easy to find with a small car park and literally 3mins down the road past the trees on the right is Lake Windermere, The Sea Aquarium &Steam Train Station so a very good location.Colin the host was very pleasant but not overbearing. We found out at breakfast that a few guests had turned up at around 7am that morning wanting to check in! He said no as that wouldn't be fair on the guests that are sleeping as it would disturb them, which was very considerate of him. The breakfast room had lovely piano music and the breakfast was really nicely cooked, the bacon particularly with extra toast &tea and coffee offered.Although we didn't have time to use it, the lounge looked lovely &cozy too with a nice brown leather corner sofa so plenty of room.I would definitely recommend it to couples or famailies and it was a very good price considering the location and it was a Friday night.I would also recommend the White Hart Inn about 10 mins down the road in Bouth, a traditional pub with nice food and a cozy lounge area.I can't seem to click on the stars so I give it 4 *"
